Most people don't dispute that they suffer from email overload. A recent report from Basex in the NYTimes revealed that people spend 28% of their day interrupted by things like unnecessary email. However, what we do about our overload is a source of much debate.

Socialtext has connected the dots between a few reports to discover that a great deal of our email comes from handling exceptions. Because business processes don't have a system to translate them into practice, we spend more than a quarter of our day emailing about the exceptions to the business process rules.

Worse than the volume of email is the amount of mental energy required by each email recipient, ergo worker, to parse each exception and determine what to do with it. E-mail was once intended to increase productivity and has now become so voluminous it is counter productive. Basex determined that business loose $650 billion in productivity due to the unnecessary email interruptions.  And, the average number of corporate

According to the US Census over 5.4 million moms put their careers on hold to stay home with children. 60% of those women would like to return to the workforce on a part-time basis (Center for Work Life Balance). The problem is two fold. Employers do not know how to tap into this amazing talent pool, and moms do not know where to find the openings.

The answer...http://www.Beyondmotherhood.com .

FetchBack's technology enables businesses to deliver messages to prospects after they leave a web site.  For example: someone who visited an online clothing store and left might see an ad for the retailer on Facebook, mySpace or the New York Times later that day. It's a process known as “retargeting” and FetchBack is the first company built from the ground up to address this unique form of advertising.

Using patent-pending technology, FetchBack allows web site businesses to recoup the investment made in attracting new prospects, by continuing the marketing relationship with them on other sites, at other times.

Because attracting new prospects often requires a large investment, FetchBack emphasizes its cost-effectiveness for continuing the relationship with prospects who responded to an initial pitch. The lost prospects who don’t become customers are a valuable target audience for follow-up messages – if marketers know how to reach them effectively.

Frustrated that your company’s business is based on your web portal, and it isn’t performing like it should?  Azul Systems hates web portals that are slow and prone to crash, and we don’t like the fact that they are energy hogs (Gartner reports that 90-95% of the time the servers are powered on but idle).  We know something about using compute hardware to transform an industry.  Azul System’s Java Compute Appliances are already a popular choice for demanding financial applications, such as program trading operations, credit risk analysis, and business intelligence – with up to 864 processors & 768GB of memory onboard it is a blazingly fast platform for any compute-intensive requirement.  The latest generation of Azul Compute Appliances addresses more than plug and chug, it takes direct aim at something everyone using the Web hates - slow, unresponsive, crash-prone web portals.   E-commerce websites that are slow and occasionally crash under unpredictable loading cause d

All of us have fond memories of the Jetsons, George and Judy enjoying the good life thanks to technology.  We also have not so fond memories of dining out ... slow service, get me my check already, rushing to catch a movie.  Imagine the integration of true technoloyg into the restaurant experience.  Dallas-based TableTop Media is rolling out a table top device that sits on your restaurant table and enables you to, well, do it all -- pay-on-demand when you are ready to go.  Want to split your check, have at it.  Leave your gratuity.  Piece of cake.  While you're hanging out waiting for your hot wings, watch a movie trailer.  Heck, buy your tickets there and now and the TableTop device prints your tickets.  Out with kids who left their DS games at home.  No problem.  TableTop offers games.  Short on time and need to buy a gift for the spouse, grab a browser and start shopping.  And let's say you're dining at your fav Mexican Restaurant.  Chances are, you can tune into a video on how to m

So you missed the big game.  Which of course means you also missed that Web gem everyone in the office is talking about.  In order to justify chest bumping your buddies, you need to search for the highlight online and find what you’re looking for – ASAP.

Rest assured EveryZing has your bases covered.  With unrivaled speech-to-text technology, you can sit at your desk and find not only that video easier than ever before but also jump to the specific point in the video where the Web gem occurred without having to sit through an entire audio or video clip.

Other companies (YouTube, Blinkx) claim to have similar technology, but there’s

Tired of attempting to make a ‘suggestion’ to a company by writing with a broken pen, attached to the end of a rusty chain, on a piece of scratch paper, slipped into a wooden box, with a corroded padlock? And then, with luck, months later your idea is possibly read (and probably discarded if it contains anything derogatory), before it is perhaps forwarded to management.

Good news - We’ve solved it!  SuggestionBox.com is where customers talk and companies listen.

SuggestionBox.com is where individuals send ideas and suggestions to any business or group they want – all from one site.   SuggestionBox.com delivers the suggestion to the company and the system automatically keeps both the suggester and the company apprised of any change, action, or responses.

We’re new and already have thousands of Suggesters, and hundreds of active SuggestionBox pages.  We’re the one place where you can help improve the things you care most about….anywhere…anytime.

This is the story of a company that saw a void and created a solution.  The void was the ability to create, distribute and receive analytical reporting for web video marketing campaigns.  The company is Flimp Media (http://www.flimp.net).

Flimp Media develops web video marketing and communications software that allows users to quickly create, distribute and track flash videosites that automatically collect and report viewer data without any programming or analytics plug-ins.

The FLIMP Platform enables marketers to create professional looking audiovisual sites that are fully interactive without involving either a web designer or programmer.  Additionally, these videosites, called flimps, can be distributed in a number of ways to a targeted audience.  Each videosite aggregates real-time performance analytics.

Flimp Media’s customers range represent a range of industry verticals, including financial services, sports marketing, event marketing, higher education, real estate, and non
