This is the story of a company that saw a void and created a solution.  The void was the ability to create, distribute and receive analytical reporting for web video marketing campaigns.  The company is Flimp Media (http://www.flimp.net).

 

Flimp Media develops web video marketing and communications software that allows users to quickly create, distribute and track flash videosites that automatically collect and report viewer data without any programming or analytics plug-ins.

 

The FLIMP Platform enables marketers to create professional looking audiovisual sites that are fully interactive without involving either a web designer or programmer.  Additionally, these videosites, called flimps, can be distributed in a number of ways to a targeted audience.  Each videosite aggregates real-time performance analytics.

 

Flimp Media’s customers range represent a range of industry verticals, including financial services, sports marketing, event marketing, higher education, real estate, and nonprofits.  Flimp's customers were looking for solutions for creating and distributing web video.  Additionally, they needed to obtain actionable data. 

 

Since so much of the marketing communications and technology media focus on web video is either online video ads or technology-related applications, Flimp Media was one of the founders of the Web Video Marketing Council (http://www.webvideomarketing.org).  Flimp decided to be a founding member of the WVMC to help establish web video marketing as a viable marketing tactic.
