With digital measuring leader comScore reporting that, "U.S. Internet users viewed more than 12 billion online videos during the month [of May]," it’s safe to say the way American’s digest media content is changed forevermore.

But with an endless stream of audio and video content available the industry has been slow to respond with effective and encompassing search options. Mefeedia is out to change that.

Burbank, CA-based Mefeedia.com (www.mefeedia.com) is throwing a ‘net over the internet” with its unique ability to deliver content via literally hundreds of media players while most aggregators utilize just one or two. This unique component allows Mefeedia user’s highly targeted and personalized access to more than 15,000 leading network and independent media sites.

And as stated in the July 30th edition of USA Today, Mefeedia’s social networking feature puts further search and share tools in the hands of their users, allowing them to create channels, playlists and RSS feeds that can be shared with others with the same interests.

Prior to creating Mefeedia, CEO Frank Sinton led the strategic technology direction at Sony Pictures Entertainment as well as the developing the “Business Web” search engine at Business.com.

His wife Lisa Connell serves as Mefeedia’s VP of Business Development and was the former Vice President of Business Affairs at NBC Entertainment where her responsibilities were focused in the areas of home video, music, merchandising, and online, including ShopNBC.com.

It’s about time someone “out-Google’d Google” and in the area of audio and video media search, Mefeedia is intent on doing just that.

Both Mr. Sinton and Ms. Connell are available for interview to discuss the latest innovations in media search, the future of the industry and the “Mefeedia Difference.”
